The Red House: Mark Haddon

Mark Haddon channels Tolstoy. “Every family is dysfunctional, but dysfunctional in its own way.” I read Haddon because he’s supposed to be “good.” Skillful? Yes. Enjoyable or edifying? Not this book. None of my friends would thank me afterwards if I recommended this book to them.
